Consultation and Development
Experience tells us that services for children and families will be better and will meet their needs well when parents are at the heart of planning and developing them.
Parents' voices count
One of the most important ways for Amaze to influence new policies, changing laws and local services that affect disabled children and children with special educational needs, is to make sure that parents' voices count, by finding out and communicating their views when they need to be heard.
Joining the Parent Carers' Council (PaCC), which is supported by Amaze, is one of the ways you can influence local services.
Involving parents
At Amaze we work to include parents at every level of our organisation. We offer a variety of ways to gather parents' views, so that you can choose how much or how little to get involved. We aim to secure visible action as a result of involving parents.
Consultation work
Parents, supported parent representatives and members of the staff team all contribute to our consultation work. Here is a summary of our current and recent consultation work.
