The Compass Card and Database
Amaze manages the Compass Card and the Compass database for Brighton and Hove Children & Young People's Trust.
The Compass Card provides a range of free and discounted leisure across the city – including free family swimming, free gym for 16 to 19s and free parent carer tickets at the Duke of York's and the Odeon cinemas. Click here to find out more about Compass Card benefits.
Applying for a Compass Card tells you what you need to do to get a Compass Card and whether your child's likely to be eligible. You'll also find the Compass Card Registration Form here. Just print it off and fill it in – or if you prefer, we can send you one in the post – call the helpline on 01273 772289.
The Compass database gives a quick introduction to The Compass and its importance in shaping local services. What The Compass tells us provides some of the statistics associated with the database, as well as reports on Brighton and Hove's population of children with special needs and short break (respite) services. How the Compass helps families shows some of the ways the database helps improve local services.
Practitioners working with children with special needs may be interested in Information for Professionals. It provides an overview of some of the ways Amaze may be able to help you – and how you can help us.
