ART - Amaze Research and Training

Amaze Research and Training was launched in 2007. We use the experience we've gathered over the last 10 years working alongside parents, to pinpoint best practice, make research and training accessible and useful to parents and workers, and break down the theory practice divide.

We believe there is an evidence base held by parent carers and the practitioners who work with them that can help provide answers to many of the challenges children, young people and families are facing. ART is interested in turning this experience into solutions that can be used in the real world. We are keen to raise standards so that policies and provision achieve the best possible support for families. And we'd like to see a better link between theoretical knowledge, research findings and what happens on the ground.

We can offer training, research and advice locally, regionally and nationally including:

  • Consultancy and engaging, lively group facilitation
  • Specialist training for professionals and parent carers
  • A parent-led perspective with an emphasis on outcomes
  • Specialist service user and practice led research projects
  • Approaches that work to people's strengths and share learning
  • Beginning-to-end project commitment that keeps children, young people and parents at the heart of service quality, improvement and celebration.
